Cancellation Policies
We're hikers, so we know Mother Nature doesn't always check the calendar. However, running remote expeditions requires significant logistics.
- Full Refund: Cancellations made 30 days prior to the hike departure.
- Partial Refund (50%): Cancellations within 14-29 days.
- No Refund: For cancellations within 13 days, as trail permits and guide assignments are locked in by then.
What happens if the weather turns dangerous? Our lead guides have the final say on safety-related cancellations. If we cancel due to conditions, you'll receive a full credit for a future workshop or trek.
Liability Waivers
Physical activities in wilderness areas carry inherent risks. By booking with Vector Treks, you acknowledge that hiking trek through varied terrain involves exposure to natural elements. All participants must sign a comprehensive waiver before departure. Safety is our pulse, but the wild is unpredictable.
Payment Terms
All workshop and tour fees are due at the time of booking. We accept all major cards via our secure portal. For custom expedition planning, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required to start the trail math and mapping phase. Final balances are settled 45 days prior to the first trail mile.

1. Scope of Agreement
This agreement governs the relationship between you, the adventurer, and Vector Treks, regarding all guided services and workshops. By paying your deposit, you're agreeing to these terms. Simple as that.
2. Participant Conduct
We're a leave-no-trace company. Respect for the environment and the guide is mandatory. If a participant's behavior endangers themselves or the group, Vector Treks reserves the right to terminate their participation immediately without refund.
